Question:Are there department approval levels?
Answer:Yes. If your department wants to see all orders prior to the orders being submitted to Staples, an approval level can be added to your profile. Please contact Terry James at Staples (866-845-0020).
Question:Who do I contact regarding returns?
Answer:There are two ways to make a return with Staples.
  1. Contact Staples Customer Service (877-826-7755).
  2. Enter your return electronically by pulling up the correct order and selecting the item you wish to return. The paperwork will be sent to Central Stores and the Central Stores Staff will deliver the paperwork to the department and pick up the item to be returned.
Question:Is there a minimum order?
Answer:A $25.00 minimum order is required. Orders of $150.00 or more receive a $5.00 discount.
Question:What if I order for someone in another building?
Answer:This building must be in your profile to ensure prompt and correct delivery. Contact Terry James at Staples to add buildings to your profile. He can be reached at 866-845-0020.
Question:Can we make personal purchases from the Staples site if we use our personal charge card?
Answer:No. The use of State Contracts for personal gain is not permitted. Under no circumstance should any employee place a personal order with any State Contract vendor.
